One of the main habits of successful athletic people is keeping a log of their workouts. This accomplishes two things - it makes sure you’re always progressing and it holds you accountable for keeping consistency.
Writing down your workouts on paper, compared to an app, also does something else - it makes you aware of what you’re doing distraction-free (compared to checking notifications when they pop up) and enables you to monitor your progress after workouts.
